Welcome!

Welcome to my proj
You have got a free haiku
Let's talk about it!

If you're here, that means you found a free haiku!

The haikus are a part of my public poetry project which aims to bring a smile to the lives of busy and stressed students through the power of poetry.

Each of these haikus was hand picked to ensure a smile.

Each flyer has a different assortment of haikus, so if you enjoyed one, grab another and share it with a friend!

Wether you loved, hated, or were indifferent to your haiku, please feel free to post a comment below, or even write a haiku of your own to share with the world!

  1. "Greetings" by Jake Regenwetter

    Warped twisted shadows
    Tearing my mind into two.
    ...
    So, how was your day?

  2. Not my haiku, one from the flyers around the school:

    Net Neutrality
Keep the Man off my bandwidth
    Don't throttle me, bro.

Unfortunately Net Neutrality in the U.S. (Title II protections) is about to be killed. Although the repeal vote happened in December, it wasn't going to come into effect until the 23rd due to review by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. Ajit Pai, the chairman of the FCC is further delaying it. Some speculate that it's because they want to pass a "bogus" Net Neutrality bill that would completely block states from passing their own Net Neutrality rules. https://motherboard.vice.com/amp/en_us/article/wj793y/ajit-pai-net-neutrality-repeal-not-official-yet

  4. Sunny Days y Krishna Subbiah
    Sunny break of day
A plain, tasty scoop of vanilla
    Near the chocolate

This is in hopes of summer coming soon.
